Ashley is a dedicated and compassionate individual who believes that every child has the potential to learn, grow, and thrive when given the right support.
Over the past few years, she has worked with children of various ages and abilities, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy, and other developmental needs. She has provided positive behavioural support in schools and centres such as Pathlight School for Autism, Genesis School, and THERIS (Therapeutic and Educational Riding in Singapore), helping children build their confidence and independence.
Ashley believes in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment where children feel respected, empowered, and excited to learn—key elements of meaningful development. To do so, she gives children the space to express their thoughts and emotions and works alongside them to achieve both academic and behavioural goals.
She also tailors her teaching approach to each child's unique needs, leveraging their strengths while addressing challenges. She takes a holistic approach by carefully observing behaviours and considering social, physical, and psychological factors to guide her interventions.
By working closely with parents and collaborating with colleagues, Ashley ensures that children receive consistent and effective support. She believes that intervention is most successful when families and educators work together and is committed to empowering both children and their caregivers on this journey toward growth and success.
