Our Little Letters enrichment program is designed to teach Phonics along with building on our children’s writing skills. Our Program follows the Jolly Phonics curriculum which incorporates Structured Synthetics phonics approach to teach children to read, write and spell.
Led by our phonics-trained therapists, our classes are further catered to meet the needs of our children by providing visual structure and using a focused yet multi-sensory approach. Children will learn through songs, actions, and various curated hands-on activities!
- Children aged 2 years old and beyond
- Suspected or diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Dyslexia
- Speech Delay
- Beginning readers and those struggling to learn to read and spell, regardless of age
- Children who requires more support in their literacy skills
- Children who learn better with multi-sensory approach
- Children who require higher repetitions and practice in learning letter sounds
Our team of interventionists who work with the child will provide written updates on the child's progress after each class. This helps busy parents to keep track of their child's learning and have a better understanding of what was taught in class.
We believe in utilizing a multisensory approach to instruction that engages children with unique learning styles, including visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile learning.
Children with needs thrive in a structured and predictable environment. At DICE, we create a supportive environment for our children by establishing clear routines, providing visual schedules and visual structures.
Our class size is kept between 3-5 children, allowing for our interventionists to provide more support and attention to each child.
Most parents are aware that it is important for their child to read and write. However, they struggle with helping them to do so. At DICE, we believe in working closely with parents to ensure that the child continues to practice what was taught. Strategies and resources will be shared so that this learning journey can be less stressful for parent and child.
