Behavioural Intervention

Tailored Approach to meet Individual Learning and Behavioural Needs

Through Behavioural Intervention, we have witnessed significant improvements in numerous children under our care. This progress can be attributed to the undivided attention our therapists provide to each child, facilitating the acquisition of new skills. 


At DICE, our therapists employ diverse strategies tailored to each child's individual learning needs. As a result, parents can observe noticeable enhancements in their child's self-regulation skills, application of coping strategies, attention span, displaying appropriate work behaviours, and various other abilities. These acquired skills can ultimately be extended to social group settings and school environments.


Our targeted behaviour interventions include:

- Behavioural Management 

- Self-Control and Self-Regulation skills

- Social Interaction and Play skills

- Developing Executive Functioning skills

- Communication skills

Who can benefit from Behavioural Intervention?

Common Profiles of Our Children

- Children aged 3 and beyond

- Suspected or diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD),  Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD)

- Speech Delay

- Selective Mutism

- Is new to work routines and understanding of reward systems 

- Faces difficulties with planning, organization and time management skills

- Requires support in emotional regulation skills 

- Gets frustrated with challenging tasks and does not persist to complete the task

- Displays low tolerance for table-top or sit down activities such as story reading

- Struggles to attend to tasks

- Unable to cooperate with peers and/or adults during group play. For example, gets upset when he/she has to share the toy or take turns. 

- Requires high repetitions in understanding new concepts

- Struggles to accept changes in routines 

- Resistant to new ways of completing familiar task
