Children with or without learning delays may require some time to adjust to a school environment. In this setting, they may encounter difficulties such as following instructions, participating in group activities, and interacting with peers. Additionally, challenges in understanding instructions and maintaining focus can hinder their engagement in activities, leading to inappropriate classroom behaviors and slower learning progress.
To address these issues, our school shadowing service offers valuable support to help the child integrate effectively into the class. Our therapists provide guidance to enhance the child's ability to comply with group instructions, adhere to school routines, initiate social interactions, and receive academic assistance. The ultimate objective is to gradually reduce the level of support ("fade") from our therapists, empowering the child to function independently within the school environment.
