Our Half-Day Program is a 4-hour extended intervention program that integrates both Early Intervention and School Readiness components within a structured small-group setting. The program emphasises group-based therapy that targets key developmental domains, supporting children in working towards their developmental milestones and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals through meaningful, functional activities embedded throughout the day.
During the earlier part of the schedule, students participate in therapeutic group sessions that focus on areas such as communication, attention, social-emotional development, motor development, behaviour regulation, and independence in routines. These sessions are carefully planned to provide opportunities for peer interaction, cooperation, and generalisation of skills in a supportive environment.
In the later part of the program, students are gradually introduced to mainstream academic learning to increase their exposure to concepts aligned with a typical preschool curriculum. This includes early literacy, phonics, numeracy, and writing activities, delivered with appropriate scaffolding to match each student's learning readiness.
By combining developmental intervention with guided exposure to academic concepts, the Half-Day Program aims to bridge learning gaps while building the foundational skills required for a smoother transition into a formal school setting.

In our Half-day program, we put high emphasis on understanding you and your child's needs, and teaching at your child's learning pace.
Each child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals are carefully integrated into daily group activities and routines. This ensures that learning remains purposeful and tailored, allowing children to make consistent progress in areas where they require additional support, while actively and meaningfully participating within a group setting.
Ongoing collaboration with parents and caregivers is a key component of the program. Regular updates, feedback, and strategy sharing help ensure that skills taught in the centre are reinforced at home, encouraging consistency and supporting more effective generalisation of learning across environments.
Children learn in small, structured groups that provide a balance of individual attention and opportunities for peer engagement. This setting supports active participation, guided social interaction, and cooperative learning, while allowing therapists to closely monitor each child’s progress and provide timely support.
Lessons are delivered through engaging, weekly theme-based activities. This approach helps children better understand and retain concepts while supporting different learning styles across both developmental and early academic domains.
The half-day program incorporates structured routines and appropriate environmental supports to help children regulate their emotions and behaviour. This enables them to remain calm, attentive, and ready to learn, especially in a group learning context.
Children are gradually introduced to classroom routines, group instructions, and mainstream preschool academic concepts. Through guided practice and scaffolded support, they build the confidence, independence, and adaptive skills needed to transition more smoothly into a formal school environment.
